Is your brain more female or male?
If I’m a left brainer, right brainer, creative, or logical thinker . . . what does it all matter? I’m not sure, but as with anything that helps me get perspective on why I do what I do, I’m interested. That’s why I took a little quiz to help me determine if my brain was more female or male.
The quiz is only 15 questions and leads off with asking if I care about fashion or how I look. Let me guess, that is a male trait?
It didn’t take me long to find out my results. I’m 80% female, 20% male. Ha! Take that, ex-boyfriend, who said I was like a dude. I’m way more chick than d*ck.
I’m taking this exercise to mean a couple of things. First, that my challenges in life have nothing to do with gender-identity. Yay! One less issue to deal with.
Second, that understanding the brain is something I am fascinated by. In addition to having my astrological charts mapped I will continue to learn about what makes me tic. Knowing how I think and do what I do will help me to maximize my strengths and use them to my advantage. That’s definitely a female thing.
Please take the quiz! Let me know your results and what it means to you. I’m so curious.

My brain came back 75% female and 25% male. I would have guessed I was more 60 / 40 and so would my close friends! LOL….. I guess what it means to me is that I have lots of compassion but can keep my emotions in check and be strong when necessary. I can also compartmentalize certain things which tends to be a male associated trait.

Here are my results:
Your Brain is 53% Female, 47% Male
Your brain is a healthy mix of male and female
You are both sensitive and savvy
Rational and reasonable, you tend to keep level headed, but you also tend to wear your heart on your sleeve

Your Brain is 73% Female, 27% Male
Your brain leans female
You think with your heart, not your head
Sweet and considerate, you are a giver
But you’re tough enough not to let anyone take advantage of you!
“You think with your heart, not your head” Hmmm…if only my last boyfriend could be the same way! And ladies, I am not referring to the head above my ex’s shoulders…
On a more serious note, in the world of entrepreneurialism, I can’t help but question, is it better to be more masculine or feminine? Are women too concerned with the feelings and well being of others to carry on a successful business? So often, it seems like playing hard ball relays into ball bustin’ others. As an aspiring woman entrepreneur, I’m always concerned (sometimes consumed) by the way my success may negatively affect others. Will this worry ever subdue or will I always battle my “tough gal” business approach? …Would it really be better, (*ahem*), easier, to be a man in this rollercoaster business?

Hey Chrystal! Even though you’re test results were a tad different than your own your projections, it sounds like you’re pretty in sync with YOU. A few q’s… How do you think your natural skill to compartmentalize has helped you as an entrepreneur? What situations have you encountered in your entrepreneurial journey where your compassionate approach and ability to keep your emotions in check have helped your business? Cheers girl!

Hey Dawn! From your results, it looks like you are the perfect balance – able to successfully think and carry both genders professionally and personally. How do you think your results “you carry your heart on your sleeve?” affect you in business? (To what degree does this really fit you?) In what ways does this trait push you ahead of the pack (ex: maybe you’re more direct, quick to point?) or pull you back in biz (ex: short temper? too quick displaying frustration?)? Would love to hear your comments!

Well, I’m a bit concerned about this
) It turned out that I am 80% male and 20% female, so I had to deliver the news to my boyfriend, since he’s practically gay now, after the results of this test
) But I guess that happens when you work in an industry dominated by men…
Love your posts, by the way! And the design is not bad either
